COLORS!  The ocean, the beaches, the sky, the taxis, the children's uniforms. Buildings in many pastel colors with their white roofs, makes quite a picture themselves.  The roofs are prepared specially so that rain water runs off into catch basins in each house. That way each house provides some of its own water.

World's smallest drawbridge.  When a sail boat goes through, one (1) board is removed from the bridge so the mast can pass through.

Street Scenes:  Colorful taxis were everywhere and LOTS of motor scooters!  There are no rental cars in Bermuda and citizens can have only one car per household.  There are no school busses for the children, they take public busses.  There just isn't room on this small island country for too many cars.

School Children: Each school had different colors.  The boys slacks and the girls skirts would be blue, green, tan, etc. denoting the school color.

RESCUE AT SEA!
While returning from Bermuda to New York, the U.S. Coast Guard sent a plane out to locate our ship and then sent a helicopter to take a passenger to a hospital.  We never learned what had happened to the person.
